Kuohu Studios is a music recording studio, music production and event space located right by the sea, in the city center area of Helsinki. It's the homebase of producer and mixer Oona Kapari. A cosy and inspiring safe space where you are welcome!

Kuohu Events
We are organizing a stream of events in 2025, supporting the artistic and financial development of independent artists and producers as well as networking across boundaries. Workshops, Get Shit Done -laptop gatherings, Mentoring, Listening Parties and even a Podcast! The events are open for everyone to apply to and diversity is taken into account in everything we do.
Kuohu Workshops
Kuohu Workshops are all about Career Success and Quality Sound. Workshops are held by experts of the industry and those our industry needs! Sales, creativity, sound, marketing, what ever you need! Let us know!
In addition there will be Get Shit Done -laptop gatherings held afterwards, where you can come with your own laptop to get those emails written!
Rehellisesti Kuohuissa -podcast
The podcast will be released after the summer holidays! In Rehellisesti Kuohuissa -podcast Oona Kapari will be talking with producers, artists and music writers about making the music and what has led us to do that.

Oona Kapari has almost two decades of experience as a recording and mixing engineer as well as in music production. Creating a safe space for you to feel comfortable in during recording. Mixing with an artistic and detailed approach, emphasizing in clear and dynamic vocals.
Kuohu Mentoring
Right now there are two classes about mixing and production going on, held by Oona Kapari. Next groups will start in August, so stay tuned! We will announce them in the Kuohu Newsletter and on our Instagram -page.

The website of Kuohu Studios is now open! We are currently working on quite a lot of things to launch the events of Kuohu Studios. Making deals and connecting with collaborators. Installing equipment and planning and budjeting. But what I'm actually dying to do is reaching out to the community! The first step to do that is finally here.
